Hi, I’m Karen. Opening a little tea room has always been a lifelong dream of mine—and whether this is a daring new chapter or a very tasty mid-life crisis, I’m thrilled that I will soon be able to welcome you through our doors!

I’ve spent years baking for friends and family, but this journey didn’t happen overnight. At Olive’s, we believe in three simple things:

Why “Olive’s”? The name belongs to my mom and best friend. And while I actually inherited my baking skills from my Auntie Pat, my mom remains my greatest inspiration. We are a true family business; my son Ethan, who trained as a chef at University College Birmingham, works right alongside me in the kitchen.
